Job Summary
Writing client-facing clinical reviews evaluating the authorization requested,
documentation support or lack of support for that authorization, evidenced based criteria for that
support, and complex clinical evaluation of the request as a whole
Qualifications
- Must be a BS Nursing Graduate
- At least 1 yr of recent experience in the hospital setting (ICU, Medical-Surgical, or
Emergency Department) - Must have an active USRN license
- Must have 1 yr of Utilization Management Review experience
- Must be amenable to GY shift
- 3 Strong background in fundamentals of nursing and medical & surgical nursing
- Knowledgeable about disease process, signs & symptoms, diagnostic tests &
management of conditions
