TRADE PROMOTIONS ANALYST – URGENT

Summary

Supports the activities of the Sales Managers, relative to the budgeting, planning,
tracking and analysis of trade promotion events and Customer Profitability as
required for Sales Managers, Sales Directors and Brand Managers in supporting
key customer and partners’ business activity by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for monitoring, reporting, and analyzing of quarterly trade
    promotion budget and performance. Review monthly forecast for assigned
    accounts with Sales Managers and identify differences with TradePro to
    ensure consistency in the numbers.
  • Assess training needs for new and existing employees to facilitate learning
    through a variety of delivery methods including classroom instruction and
    virtual training.
  • Ensure that offerings entered by Sales managers reflected as “plans” in the
    system have business reasonability in regards the customer/region
    performance.
  • Approve the offerings reflected as plans in the system.
  • Provide detailed information on the roll-up of all account activity to assist in
    demand planning process.
  • Trade Promotion Activity.
  • Assist Deduction clerks to identify necessary changes to system volumes
    that reduce/add trade spend to increase trade system accuracy.
  • Analyze customer sales plan execution to determine effects and quantify
    expected results.
  • Provide supervisor with monthly updates for specified customer
    performance incentive objectives, analyze program results and organize
    final payment schedule.
  • Proactively identify potential problem areas with regard to trade promotion
    spending and work directly with Field Sales personnel to assist them in
    correcting.
  • Assist Sales Managers to manage to their strategic planning rates
  • Participates actively with his/hers Participative Management Process Team.
    (Attending meetings, updating or creating indicators, suggestions, team
    presentations, etc.)
  • Responsible for creating AP checks and verifying invoices for special
    promotions plans.
  • Process reimbursements related to a MDF plan for the Sales Managers.
  • Must be able to work in a team. Team Building is an ongoing process that
    helps a work group evolve into a cohesive unit.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The candidate needs to be self-motivated, organized, efficient and highlyproductive, with the capability to work well on a diverse and highly qualified team in a fast-paced work environment. Excellent analytical abilities as well as verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish. Must be able to multi-task on multiple projects. Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree; and/ or 4 years of experience that is directly related to the
duties and responsibilities or a combination of education and experience. Basic accounting skills.

Language Ability:

Bilingual English/Spanish is highly encouraged. Ability to read, analyze and
interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures,
or governmental regulations. Emphasis is on excellent communication skills in
order to develop clear reports, business correspondence, and presentations for the
company. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from
members of management. Overall excellent communication and writing skills.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions,
proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply
concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Must possess exemplary math skills and
have the ability to create, draw, and interpret graphs, as well as the ability to use
regression analysis, and other statistical tools.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in
situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of
instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to define
problems, analyze pertinent data, and draw appropriate conclusions that draws on
an ample knowledge base of the beverage manufacturing industry.
