Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reviewing a patient’s medical records after a visit from the Hospital
  • Encodes the chart to process claims from patients
  • Identify missing information and provide resolution
  • Submit forms to insurers for reimbursement

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active CIC, CPC or CCS Certification
  • College Graduate of BS Nursing or Med Allied Course
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Inpatient Coding
  • Must be willing to work onsite
